Applications of materials in ISO/TR 15608 material group 1.2
Due to the moderate carbon content and the specified low alloy constituents, the steels in this material group are suitable for application temperatures up to approx. 300 °C. These steels also have specified strength characteristics such as yield strength or tensile strength. These characteristics make this material group essential in the manufacture of parts and machinery, pressure equipments for the chemical industry, the oil industry and other industries, among others.
