  • Do the requirements of Annex I Section 4 regarding materials also apply to pressure equipment described in Article 4.3 (Sound engineering practice)?

Answer

No

Any pressure equipment covered in Article 4 paragraph 3 does not have to meet the Essential Safety Requirements of Annex I and consequently does not fall under the regime of the material requirements contained therein.
